To be considered for Texas A&M University Academic Scholarships, Scholarships & Financial Aid will review your academic achievement, campus and community activities, leadership roles and employment. In order to provide scholarship opportunities to the greatest number of students, Texas A&M does not stack Academic Scholarships. If you qualify for more than one Academic Scholarship, our office will offer you the highest dollar-value scholarship only. Academic Scholarships are four year awards.
Academic Scholarships are only offered to incoming freshmen. You may apply through the ApplyTexas Application or Common App. Students must also submit a Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR) in order to be considered. The scholarship deadline for Fall is December 1. If the deadline falls on a weekend, the application will remain open until 11:59 PM (CST) on the following Monday. If you receive a scholarship check(s), please mail your check to Scholarships and Financial Aid, instead of delivering it in-person to our office. Dollar amounts will vary.
