The Tier One Scholarship is offered to incoming freshmen at the University of Houston. Tier One Scholars are offered a generous financial assistance package, the opportunity to live on campus, and access to enrichment opportunities to help them prepare for their future. To compete for the Tier One Scholarship, incoming students should complete the Tier One Scholarship application and the application for admission to the University of Houston. Though not required, if you have a 1400 SAT or 30 ACT composite score and rank in the top 10% of your class, you'll improve your chances of qualifying for this scholarship.
