  • Scholarship Description
  • TRTF awards scholarships to Texas college students pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Education. Since the program's inception, TRTF has awarded over $45,000 in scholarship funds. Student scholarship applicants must be a relative of a member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA) and should include their official high school or college transcripts with their application. The TRTA will award 15 $500 scholarships for the current year to qualifying students.

    -Be enrolled in a university or college in Texas for the upcoming academic school year
    -Be a relative of an active member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA)
    -Be pursuing an undergraduate, masters or doctoral degree in education
