eQuality Scholarship

eQuality Scholarship Collaborative awards scholarships to honor and encourage California students for their service to the lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender community. Current members of the Collaborative include PG&E PrideNetwork, KP Pride, Genentech Out and Equal, Pride@KPMG, Out & Equal Workplace Advocates, and Gay-Straight Alliance Network.


Eligibility requirements for high school graduates:
- Must be a resident of northern or central California (may study elsewhere)
- Must have completed or expect to complete high school or equivalent within the last four years
- Must plan to attend or began attending an accredited post-secondary institution (college, university, or vocational/trade school) for the first time this coming year

Eligibility requirements for community college transfer students:
- Must be a resident of northern or central California (but may study elsewhere)
- Must have graduated or expect to graduate from community college within the last four years
- Must plan to attend or began attending an accredited four-year college or university for the first time this coming year

Eligibility requirements for nursing students:
- Must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited ADN or BSN RN program in California

Eligibility requirements for medical students:
- Must be attending an accredited medical school in California - OR - be a California resident attending an accredited medical school elsewhere in the United States
