LIFE Lessons Scholarship Program

Qualified entrants must submit a 500-word essay OR three-minute video about how the death of a parent or guardian impacted their lives are eligible for in grand prize scholarship of $15,000. The total amount of all scholarships is $175,000. LIFE awards LIFE Lessons Scholarships once a year. *Applications are solicited for one month only during the February time frame and recipients will be notified in the late summer. The LIFE Lessons Scholarship Program is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are between 17 and 24 years of age, have experienced the death of a parent or legal guardian, and are currently enrolled in (or have been accepted to) a college, university or trade school within the 50 United States or District of Columbia. A minor should have a parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to enter. Void where prohibited by law. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
