Maine Metal Products Association Scholarship
The Maine Metal Products Association Scholarship awards are given to individuals who have demonstrated an outstanding record and overall potential to attend an institution of higher learning majoring in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Machine Tool Technician
- Sheet Metal Fabrication
- CADCAM for Metals Industry
- This scholarship is restricted to the study of metal working trades and will be used to pay
tuition costs, textbooks, lab fees, supplies, room and board.
The Purpose of the Scholarship is two-fold:
Provides a valuable community service by encouraging qualified applicants to pursue careers in the metal working industry.
Provides the community and the Maine Metal Products Association member companies with a potential source of well trained metal working technicians and management personnel.
The applicant must be a Maine resident and have a sincere desire to further their education in the metal working trades.
The winner of the scholarship award must have applied to enter a metal trades program at a Maine college in the fall and must be accepted as a student at that college.
