Oxbow Animal Health Veterinary Medicine Scholarship

Non-traditional animal species are becoming more popular as pets throughout the world. There is a greater need for veterinarians who specialize in care and nutrition of these exotic pets.


Oxbow’s Veterinary Medicine Scholarship is for students currently enrolled in a veterinary school and demonstrate an interest in small and exotic animal medicine.

To qualify:
- Complete the application available online
- Submit a resume describing activities and job history
- Provide two letters of reference
- Provide proof of full-time enrollment in a college or university

Submit a 300- to 500-word essay on one of the following topics:
- The Future of Exotic Animal Medicine
- The Role of Nutrition in Animal Health
- Two of the Greatest Challenges in Exotic Animal Health

Applications must be postmarked by March 1st. Scholarship recipients will be announced May 1st. Scholarships are paid directly to the school in September. Submit completed applications to:
