San Francisco Conservatory of Music Scholarship

The San Francisco Conservatory of Music maintains a generous financial aid program, including institutional scholarships, federal and state grants and loans, and part-time employment.

Approximately 92 percent of Conservatory students receive some portion of their assistance directly from Conservatory scholarships. Conservatory financial aid awards generally include gift assistance (scholarship or grant) and self-help assistance (loans and work opportunities). The recipient may accept all or any part of the aid offered.

Conservatory scholarships are awarded based on musical ability as demonstrated at the audition, financial need, and the musical needs of the Conservatory. State and federal funds are awarded only to US citizens and permanent residents based on demonstrated financial need.

Further information about the Conservatory's scholarship and financial aid programs can be found on the Conservatory's website,
