Vantagepoint Public Employee Memorial Scholarship
The Vantagepoint Public Employee Memorial Scholarship was created to honor the lives, service and dedication of public employees who have died in service to their communities.
Scholarships through this program are ONLY offered to the children and/or spouse of local or state government employees who have died in the line of duty, such as a firefighter, police officer, or public works employee.
Scholarships are accepted between December 15 and March 15 each year. Please visit the site to download an application or to find more detailed information about this scholarship.
Scholarships of up to $10,000 are offered each year to students who plan to study full-time at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school.
Scholarship recipients are also selected on the basis of their academic record, financial need, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, their work experience, honors, and on any unusual personal or family circumstances.
