White Earth Scholarship Program

Student must be an enrolled member of the White Earth Band of Chippewa (descendents ineligible). Must attend an accredited post-secondary institution and must not have defaulted on any student loans.


Applicant must complete the FAFSA and the White Earth Scholarship Program applications 8 weeks prior to beginning potential institution. Minnesota residents must be seeking a degree, certificate, or diploma in a program that is at least 1 year in length.

Students that will be attending a post-secondary institution outside Minnesota must be seeking a degree or diploma in a program that is at least 2 years in length. There are no exceptions. Eligible students who qualify for this scholarship can receive up to $4,500 per institutional calendar year.

Undergraduate students must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA and graduate students at least a 3.0 average. Applications will be accepted through May 31st or 12 weeks before the fall term begins.
