Zonta International believes in gender equality, the Jane M. Klausman (JMK) Women in Business Scholarship program helps women pursue undergraduate and master’s degrees in business management and overcome gender barriers from the classroom to the boardroom.
Women of any age, pursuing a business program with major field of specialization in accounting, economics, finance, business management, business technology, information technology, marketing, operations management, human resources management, international business, or entrepreneurship at an accredited university/college/institute, may apply.
Eligibility
- Must be enrolled in at least their second year of undergraduate program
- Students up to and through grad school may apply
- Must have at least one year of school to complete when applying
- Must be female
This award begins at the local Zonta Club of Madison with $1000 awarded to the selected candidate. Applications of the selected student may be forwarded on to Zonta International for consideration of an additional $5000 award.
Zonta Club of Madison awards a $1,000 award and forwards the winner’s application as appropriate to Zonta District 6 for consideration for an additional $5,000 award from Zonta International.
