  • Scholarship Description
  • The PDK Educational Foundation awards more than 30 scholarships each year to prospective educators who have a connection to PDK by having a family member or teacher who is a PDK member, or through membership in Educators Rising. All scholarships are available under a single application.

    Applicants must be a high school senior intending to major in education who is a good standing member of Educators Rising, a high school senior intending to major in education who is the child or grandchild of a Kappan in good standing, a high school senior intending to major in education who has one of his/her reference letters written by a Kappan in good standing or an undergraduate member of PDK who is enrolled in a college education program. Three San Bernardino County women who have been accused of stealing $1 million in federal financial aid from Fullerton college, in California, have been arrested by the U.S. Justice Department and are charged with various counts of mail and wire fraud.
