The Mahoney Family Foundation is a 501c3 organization created to support the ongoing education and training of those in the nursing and teaching professions through scholarship programs. The Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life in the communities where this funding is provided. The Organization was founded in 2017 by Larry and Sandy Mahoney with a goal of recognizing the tireless efforts of our nurses and teachers.
The Mahoney Family Foundation provides scholarships for graduate degrees for nurses and teachers. Applicants must be currently employed as a full-time nurse or teacher (paraprofessionals are ineligible) with at least three years experience and be a US citizen or permanent US resident. Scholarships will be awarded three times per year - Spring, Summer, and Fall Semesters- and will be paid directly to the school/organization providing the education/training. Applications are due three times a year, depending on whether the applicant is applying for the summer semster, fall semester or spring semester.
