Maine Metal Products Association Scholarship Program

The Maine Metal Products Association Scholarship awards are given to individuals who have demonstrated an outstanding record and the overall potential to attend an institution of higher learning, majoring in machine trades or related metal working areas (mechanical engineering, machine tool technology, sheet metal fabrication, welding and CADCAM for metals industry). This scholarship is restricted to the study of manufacturing technology trades and will be used to pay for tuition costs and textbooks only.


The applicant must be a Maine resident and have a sincere desire to further their education in the metal working trades; the applicant must also be a full-time student and maintain a minimum of a C average. The winner of the scholarship award must have applied to enter a metal trades program at a Maine college in the fall and must be accepted as a student at that college.
