  • Scholarship Description
  • The Davidson Fellows Scholarship awards scholarships to extraordinary young people, 18 and under, who have completed a significant piece of work. Application categories are Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Literature, Music, Philosophy and Outside the Box. Davidson Fellows are honored every year in Washington, D.C. with Congressional meetings and a special reception.

    -18 years or younger as of Oct. 1
    -Be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the U.S. (including those in the U.S. Military sustained oversees on active duty)
    -Student's projects are at, or close to graduate level depth of knowledge in their area of study

    Each scholarship may be used only for qualified tuition and related expenses, as defined in the Internal Revenue Code §117(b) and related regulations. The Davidson Institute determines the time and conditions of payment of scholarships. The Davidson Institute may specify the documentation required to ensure that the recipient is following an appropriate course of study. If the Davidson Fellow withdraws from school - or his or her progress is unsatisfactory and the Fellow makes no alternate arrangements to pursue courses at the same or another educational institution - the Davidson Institute can terminate the scholarship.
