  • The Davidson Fellows Scholarship awards prestigious scholarships to extraordinary young people, 18 and under, who have completed a significant piece of work. Application categories are science, technology, engineering, mathematics, literature, music, philosophy and outside the box. Davidson Fellows are honored every year in Washington, D.C. with Congressional meetings and a special reception.

    STEM Categories: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
    Humanities Categories: Literature, Music, Philosophy

    Eligibility:
    -18 years or younger as of October 1
    -Be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the U.S. (including those in the U.S. military sustained overseas on active duty)
    -Student's projects are at, or close to graduate level depth of knowledge in their area of study

    STEM Categories: science, technology, engineering, mathematics
    Humanities Categories: literature, music, philosophy

    If the Davidson Fellow withdraws from school - or his or her progress is unsatisfactory and the fellow makes no alternate arrangements to pursue courses at the same or another educational institution - the Davidson Institute can terminate the scholarship.

9/11 Memorial Flags Trashed at California College

Vandals allegedly trashed the 2,997 American flags planted across Occidental College's campus as a 9/11 Memorial by the college's Republican Club.
