The Hispanic Scholarship Fund offers funding to assist students of Hispanic heritage obtain a university degree. Scholarships are available, on a competitive basis, to high school seniors, undergraduate students, community college students transferring to four year universities, and graduate students.
Scholarship Details
- 10,000 students selected annually as HSF Scholars based on merit.

- Scholarship awards range from $500 to $5,000, depending on financial need and available funds.

Eligibility Requirements
- Must be of Hispanic heritage.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA recipient.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale for high school students; minimum 2.5 GPA for college and graduate students.
- Plan to enroll full-time at an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school in the U.S. for the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Submit FAFSA or state-based financial aid forms, if applicable.
Application Process

- Prepare academic records, including GPA and proof of enrollment plans for the current academic year.
- Complete the FAFSA or applicable state financial aid forms.
- Submit the HSF Scholar application through the official HSF portal during the application window.
- Await notification regarding selection and additional conference opportunities.
All majors and graduate fields are accepted, with an emphasis placed on STEM majors. HSF Scholars have access to a full range of invaluable Scholar Support Services, including career services, mentorship, leadership development, knowledge building, and wellness training. HSF awards more than $30 million in Scholarships annually and, depending upon available funds, HSF Scholars may also be eligible to receive a scholarship, which range from $500-$5,000 and awarded directly to students.
