  • Scholarship Description
  • The Islamic Scholarship Fund (ISF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) entity founded in 2009 whose mission is to address the under-representation of American Muslims in the fields and occupations that influence public opinion and make public policy. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are Muslim or an active member of the Muslim community, enrolled at an accredited university by August of the year the scholarship is offered, majoring in media, politics or another ISF supported major, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and be a junior or senior undergrad or graduate student. I am currently a high school student in my senior year, looking to get scholarships because in future, I want to pursue my dream towards medical school InshaAllah. If I get this scholarship InshaAllah, I do not have to take loans for medical school, and it would also take some burden of my parents.

Salam, I am in college majoring in Civil Engineering which is my dream. However due to financial struggles I am working to pay off my tuition and it is making my studying very difficult with overnight shifts. My goal is to graduate some day and put my siblings in colleges so they can follow my path and take care of my mother inshallah.

I am a muslim female, graduating with a degree in biomedical engineering from Rutgers University in May 2020. I will be attending Seton Hall Law School in the fall. I applied for this scholarship because I am in a great deal of undergraduate debt and would like to avoid applying for more loans to complete my graduate degree.

I am a Muslim, from a developing country known as Nepal, which is in Asia. I want to pursue my higher education in liberal arts. I belong from a middle class family, and I am the first from my family to seek higher education in abroad, with scarcity of opportunities and many restrictions, I want to study in abroad, and I need this scholarship to afford it.
