  • Scholarship Description
  • The Alabama Home Builders Foundation scholarship was founded in 1995 with a mission to help fund deserving students who are interested in pursuing an education in the residential building trades in the state of Alabama. Over $500,000 in scholarship funding has been awarded to over 1,000 students.

    Eligibility:
    -Must be a resident of Alabama
    -Must be enrolling in or attending a junior college, technical school, or university in Alabama
    -Must be enrolled in a residential construction-related curriculum

    Skills and Trades AHB Foundation Generally Supports:
    -Building Science/Construction Engineering
    -Civil Engineering
    -Carpentry/Cabinetry
    -Electrical Engineering
    -Drafting and Design
    -Electrical Technology
    -HVAC/HVACR
    -Landscaping
    -Masonry
    -Plumbing
    -Sustainable Construction

A University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Professor has been accused of following members of a pro-chief Illiniwek group into a restroom and videotaping.
