The Shared Energy Future Foundation now offers a range of scholarships to help the next generation of Western States students succeed and innovate in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), as well as other disciplines related to energy. This year, we’ve allocated $20,000 in scholarship awards. Applicants must be incoming, first-year students (or current first-year apprentices) with a minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Scholarship Details
- Five $1,000 scholarships available
- Supports students pursuing careers in trades like Automotive, HVAC, Welding, and more
- Requires a personal statement from all applicants
Eligibility Criteria
- High school seniors with a GPA of 2.0 or above or 1st Year Apprentices
- Demonstrated interest in attending a trade school
- Demonstrated financial need
- Enrollment in a trade school in specified fields
Application Process
- Prepare a personal statement that reflects your background, goals, and experiences
- Ensure your statement is no more than two pages, double-spaced, in 12-point Times New Roman font
- Submit your application and personal statement by the specified deadline
