  • The John & Francesca Vera Community Leadership Scholarship was established by John and Francesca Vera to support students of Hispanic/Latino descent who have an interest in community leadership. Applicants must be Latino graduating seniors at Franklin High School in Stockton, California, pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university.

    One scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $2,500 to a Hispanic/Latino Male Student; One scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $2,500 to a Hispanic/Latina Female Student. Open all Latino/Latina graduating seniors at Franklin High School in Stockton, California, pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university. Preference/Section Criteria: demonstration of leadership in their community. Applicant must have a 3.0 GPA minimum.
