I applied for this scholarship because I need all the financial aid I can earn. I live in a single parent household with my mother. My mother has two kids a 12th grader and 7th grader. I want to help my mother with paying my way to college. Also I would be the first person in my family to attend and graduate college. So this is a honor to be applying for this scholarship.

I am applying for this Scholarship because I am determined to make it to Medical School, but first I have to get my first four years of college. I have two other siblings younger than I am and I know that my parents have to pay for all three of us to go to college. I know they need as much help as they can get. My parents waited four years between each of their children so to insure that they only have one in college at a time. Since I am determined to go another additional four years, which will occur at the same time my brother will be in college I know I need to help as much as possible. I am a Junior in High School and currently have a 4.0 GPA. In addition, I love Church's Chicken. Especially their milkshakes. Not that that will help me any in my endeavors.

I am applying for this scholarship to farther my education. I am furthering my education for the better of me, to help my family with their financial situation and to help take a load off my family's shoulder with trying to put me through school. My mother has two other kids, one in 3rd grade and one in the 10th grade. She lives from paycheck to paycheck and is a single mother. My father is married with 4 children with my step mother, I have a set of twins that are 3 years old, a 11 year old sister who's going to the 6th grade who's in private school, and I have a 7 year old brother who's going to the 2nd grade. My step mother handles all of our financial needs since my father's been in and out of work. My mom and step father sends me extra money when they have it. I have also been applying for jobs also so that I can save every penny I have. It has been hard for my father and step mother to allow me to continue to attend private school so I transferred back into a public school. I really hope I can get as many scholarships to help put me through school.

I am applying for the Church’s Chicken community scholarship because I need to gather as many funds as I possibly can to afford to go and attend college. My parents don’t have a lot of money and cannot afford to send 2 children off to college out of pocket. I am merely trying to make something out of myself and become the nurse that I have desired to be for so long and a little monetary help from this scholarship would mean so much to my academic and personal future. Thank you for putting this amazing scholarship opportunity out here for those in need of help !
