  • The Central Scholarship and Loan Referral Service (CSLRS) of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh coordinates the efforts of a group of organizations, agencies and scholarship endowment funds that provide scholarships to local Jewish students enrolled in an accredited institution of higher education.

    Eligibility:
    -Any Jewish high school senior or those enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or technical school with financial need who are bona fide residents of our geographical area

    Our geographical area includes Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Washington and Westmoreland counties. Applicants must be a resident of one of these counties for at least two years before applying. Residency of dependent students is determined by the residency of their parents. Students who move to our geographical area to attend school must live here for two years as an independent. Residents of Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Lawrence, Mercer or Venango counties are eligible only to apply for the highly competitive Sarah and Tena Goldstein Memorial Scholarship.
