Coca-Cola All-State Academic Team Scholarship for Community Colleges

The Coca-Cola All-State Academic Team Scholarship, funded by the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation and administered by Phi Theta Kappa, provides up to $450,000 in stipends.

Fifty (50) Gold Scholars will receive $1,500, fifty (50) Silver Scholars will receive $1,250, fifty (50) Bronze Scholars, will receive $1,000 and 150 national finalists will be selected from multiple states, each receiving a $1,000 stipend. In addition, the top scoring student from each of the fifty states will be named a New Century Scholar and will receive a $2,000 stipend.

Nominations: Students interested in being considered will need to contact the Phi Theta Advisor at his or her community college.

- Students who attend community college in the United States do not need to be a member of Phi Theta Kappa. Students attending community colleges outside of the U.S. need to be members of Phi Theta Kappa and may only apply for the New Century Scholars program. Both students attending in the U.S. and internationally should submit the All-USA/All-State Academic Teams nomination form and materials.
- Must be enrolled at a community college through December.
- Must have a cumulative college-level GPA of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale for all coursework completed in the last five years, regardless of institution attended,
- Students must be on track to earn an Associate or a Bachelor degree (or the equivalent of a U.S. Associate or Bachelor degree). Students need to have a minimum of 36 semester (or 48 quarter) college-level credits completed at or transferred to a community college by December 31, and 48 semester (or 72 quarter), college-level credits by August 31. Students must have a minimum of 30 semester (or 45 quarter), college-level credit hours completed at a community college in the past five years.
- Must not have been nominated previously for the All-USA Community College Academic Team.
- Must have a community college record free of suspension, probation or other serious disciplinary action. Must have a record 1) free from any criminal conduct, or 2) if a convicted felon, has completed all conditions of sentencing, including probation.

The Coca-Cola All-State Academic Team Scholarship Program is made possible with funding from the Joseph B. Whitehead Foundation. The Whitehead Foundation provides grants in support of human services initiatives, particularly organizations and programs that benefit young people. The late Joseph B. Whitehead was one of the original bottlers of Coca-Cola.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, a joint effort of Coca-Cola Bottlers across the United States and The Coca-Cola Company, is one of the largest corporate-sponsored, merit-based scholarship programs of its kind in the United States. The Foundation is supported by the financial commitment of local Coca-Cola Bottlers and The Coca-Cola Company. The deadline for this scholarship is December 2nd.
