  • Scholarship Description
  • The Marathon Petroleum Scholars Program was established to assist employees' children who plan to continue education in college or vocational school programs. Renewable and non-renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student's choice.

    Eligibility:
    -Children of regular full-time or regular part-time employees of Marathon or Speedway SuperAmerica LLC (part-time employees must have one year of service as of the application deadline
    -Children of retired or deceased employees including regular full-time or part-time employees at the time of retirement or death
    -Must be a high school senior with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA and plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college/university or an accredited vocational-technical school
    -SAT/ACT scores
