  • Sponsored by the Valero Energy Corporation Scholarship, first-time freshman and transfer students can access the general scholarship application on ApplyTexas to apply for this scholarship.

    Eligibility:
    -Must enroll at least part-time at UTSA
    -Must demonstrate financial need as determined by student financial aid
    -Among equally qualified applicants, preference will be given to students demonstrating participation and leadership in community and/or extracurricular activities
    -Application requirements: must complete the general scholarship application through UTSA
    -New graduate and transfer students must be admitted to the university and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
