Scholarship Description
We're excited to present the Queer Youth of Faith National Essay Contest for high school seniors who identify as LGBTQ+ and a person of faith. $10,000 in academic scholarships will be awarded. The top five essays will be awarded $2,000 each in scholarship awards.
Tell us why your faith or spirituality is important to you. How has your faith shaped you as a person and helped you in hard times? How have others challenged your faith and/or identity, and how did you persevere. Applicants must be: High school seniors ages 16-20; Residing in the United States; Identify as LGBTQ+ and a person of faith (Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, etc). The entry deadline is in March. Winners will be announced at the end of May.
