As a member of the Allston-Brighton community, Genzyme, a Sanofi company has established community outreach programs to benefit the residents of Allston-Brighton. Under the auspices of the outreach program, Genzyme has established a college scholarship fund to provide financial assistance to students seeking higher education in the Life Sciences and Engineering.
-You must have been a resident of Allston or Brighton for the past three years. The three-year residency requirement will be counted as the three-year period ending June
-You may be a student at any public, private or parochial secondary school; or if you have previously received a Genzyme scholarship, you may be a student at any college or university
-You must be accepted into an accredited college or university and designate a major in a life science or life science-related field, or engineering
All eligible students must complete the attached application and submit it with required documents. Complete packages include the completed application form, listing of extra-curricular activities, essay, academic transcripts/SAT scores, and two letters of recommendation.
