Scholarship Description
Applicants for the Richard V. Hotson, Jr. and Stephen L. Teller Scholarship for LGBTQIA+ Students must identify as LGBTQIA+ and be enrolled in an accredited institution in Los Angeles area or at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In order to apply, students must: Currently be enrolled or accepted in Fall and planning to attend next Spring; Live and attend school in Los Angeles County or student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas; and meet the application requirements.
A variety of scholarships are available every Fall and Spring term. Students can apply to up to two scholarships and re-apply every semester. Funding is distributed directly to the schools on the following school term. Funds are paid in full and are not fee-specific. Students in their last term are not eligible to apply. The Student Aid Report is no longer required to demonstrate financial need. Financial need will be determined based on essay.
