The Indiana Chapter of the Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP-Indiana) values the importance of higher education, and, therefore, strives to create opportunities for students in engineering, maintenance, and reliability-related concentrations by providing financial assistance in the form of a scholarship to qualified individuals.
Scholarship applicants are judged on the basis of relevant coursework and extracurricular activities, including work experience and leadership activities related to the fields of engineering, reliability and maintenance, a letter of recommendation and an essay.
-Candidates must be currently enrolled in an institution of higher learning as a junior or senior in a four-year program or in the second year of a two-year program
-Must be attending a school in the State of Indiana or be a resident of the State of Indiana
-Majors accepted: any engineering, reliability or maintenance-related course of study
-Membership in SMRP is not required
Essay: Please submit a one (1) paragraph essay (500 characters max) stating how you hope to exemplify one of the five pillars described in the SMRP Body of Knowledge in your future workplace.
