  • Scholarship Description
  • This scholarship is open to all Nevada public high school seniors. The scholarship is for students wishing to study German OR a German related field. For instance, if a student majors in international diplomacy, and he/she is required to take a foreign language, then that student would qualify provided he/she chooses a German course.

    Eligibility:
    -Nevada high school seniors who either plan to study German or a German-related field at a university or college in the United States, or wish to enroll in a university in Germany
    -Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA
    -Applicants must elaborate on their specific college plans when applying
    -Briefly elaborate on autobiographical information that might not be obvious for non-Americans to grasp

    Supplemental questions:
    1. Will you be entering a German related field?
    2. One essay of 500 words on, "How will you benefit from this scholarship?" We expect applicants to include autobiographical information where appropriate. Also, please include the relatedness of your chosen degree to German or Germany.
