The IFA Foundation and the Stewart and Jane Bainum Fund of the Community Foundation have paired to sponsor this competitive one-time award to be presented annually. Additionally, the individual selected will receive a complimentary registration to attend IFA's Annual Convention and will receive a travel stipend (up to $1500) to attend. To be eligible for this one-time award, applicant must: (1) be enrolled in a U.S. accredited college of university with studies in business, hospitality, or franchise management, (2) have sophomore, junior or senior college class standing for the period of the scholarship, and (3) be a U.S. citizen.
Applicants must submit an official (raised-seal) transcript and a 500-word essay on “Why a College Education is Still Relevant” with their scholarship application. Must be a U.S. Citizen enrolled in an accredited college/university in the U.S. with course of study in Business, Hospitality or Franchise Management. Applicant must have sophomore, junior or senior class status for the period of the scholarship. Applicants must submit an official certified (raised-seal) transcript and prepare a 500-word essay on "Why a College Education is Still Relevant". The completed package must be received by the specified deadline.
