  • Scholarship Description
  • The Center for Italian & Italian American Culture (CIIAC) is a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting and celebrating the rich culture Italians & Italian Americans share. Mr. Peter Coco­ziello, Sr. estab­lished a schol­ar­ship in his name to be adm­nis­tered by The Cen­ter for Ital­ian & Ital­ian Amer­i­can Cul­ture, Inc. Two schol­ar­ships will be awarded to two stu­dents who meet the qual­i­fy­ing cri­te­ria and are of Ital­ian or Ital­ian-Amer­i­can ethnicity.

    Judging criteria is based upon financial need (50%), academic standing (25% 3.5 or higher GPA) and a character essay (25%). The 500-word essay should focus on the significance of Italian heritage in the student’s life, as well as a discussion of personal, educational, and professional goals.
