  • Scholarship Description
  • Students of Iranian heritage throughout the United States are turning to the Iranian-American community for support. We are pleased to be making a difference in the lives of these amazing students, but clearly, their growing numbers demonstrate the need for increased funding to continue this valuable work. ?Our scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence, financial need, and commitment to community service.


    Eligibility:
    -Verifiable Iranian heritage
    -US citizenship or legal permanent residency with a valid permanent resident card
    -Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate (freshmen not eligible) or graduate (Ph.Ds not eligible) student in a degree-seeking program at an accredited institution in the U.S.
    -Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA
    -Demonstrated need for financial assistance
    -Demonstrated commitment to community service
    -A scholarship will be awarded to a full-time undergraduate, graduate or Ph.D applicant in the field of Iranian Studies at an accredited institution in the U.S.
    -Scholarship applicants are limited to receiving two years of undergraduate scholarship and/or one year of graduate scholarship

Elon U Sued by Student for Alleged Discrimination
