  • Scholarship Description
  • The Jack F. Tolbert Memorial Student Grant is for students attending or who plan to attend a private career school.

    If you are interested in applying for this award, complete and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1st. Apply to the financial aid office of the private career school you will attend.

    Eligibility Requirements:
    - Must be a Maryland resident
    - Must enroll at an approved Maryland private career school
    - Must enroll for at least 18 clock hours per week
    - Financial need as demonstrated by the FAFSA

    The award amount of a Tolbert Grant may be up to $500. All majors are eligible but funds may not be available to award all eligible students.
