  • Scholarship Description
  • The Winston-Salem Foundation offers educational aid for college to qualified traditional and non-traditional applicants from charitable funds established by generous supporters of the community. Funds carry both general and specific restrictions.

    To receive consideration, applicants must:
    -Be residents of Forsyth County, NC
    -Have achieved a current cumulative unweighted grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0
    -Have a family adjusted gross income of up to 300% above the Federal Poverty Guidelines
    -Be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours/semester during the academic year in a program leading to a first-time two-year or four-year degree, certificate, or diploma from an accredited institution which participates in the federal student aid program
