  • Scholarship Description
  • NASF's educational foundation remains committed to helping undergraduate and graduate students interested in studying chemical engineering, material science or engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgical engineering, environmental engineering or chemistry.

    Eligibility:
    -Available to both undergraduates and graduates
    -Undergraduate applicants must be junior standing or above when applying
    -Undergraduate and graduate students must be studying in chemical engineering, material science or engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgical engineering, environmental engineering, or chemistry
    -Must be attending an accredited college
    -There are no geographic limitations. Both national and international applicants are urged to apply
    -Undergraduates must have a minimum 3.0 GPA; graduates must have a minimum 3.3 GPA

Good afternoon, My son Colby Macias who received a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering at UTSA in San Antonio Texas in 2008, has worked for an airline that designs custom airplanes for diplomats all over the world. He wants to expand his knowledge for a patent lawyer at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. He has taken his LSAT test and will start school in the next 2 weeks. He will continue to work and graduate in 2018. He paid for his first school loan and will pay for this one which will probably exceed $100,000.00 He is not one to ever ask for anything however if there are any scholarships available to him, that would help him. As a mother, I know there are many children that are special but Colby's tenacity with adversity has always shown through. He will be something in this world that will benefit more than just himself, he will add promise to our future.

Midway through his "It's OK to be White" speech at the University of Connecticut, Conservative commentator Lucian Wintrich was arrested and charged with attempted larceny and disorderly conduct after he grabbed a woman who had swiped his notes off his lectern. The charges have since been dropped and in a reversal, the woman was arrested and charged with attempted larceny and disorderly conduct.
