Greetings! My name is Selsabeel Ibrahim and I'm currently a senior in high school! I've been applying to colleges, and came across this scholarship. I was happily surprised, as it is an amazing opportunity. This scholarship would really help me because I am the second child of my family going to college and it will be an added expense for my family, and I don't want my family to compromise anything because of me, and I'm unable to work because it is unsafe near me. I want to use this opportunity to go to a 4-year college and become successful! Thank you for this opportunity!

Kristin B  on 10/19/2022 10:28:00 AM

Hello, my name is Kristin Bui, currently attending Hickory High School (NC) graduating with the class of 2023. I am applying for this scholarship to help further my education as a student coming from a low-income family with divorced parents (living with one parent) that immigrated to the US from Vietnam. I am using this opportunity to go to a 4-year college, majoring in possibly psychology, business, or music without having any financial troubles. I have a 3.8 GPA, currently in extracurriculars such as key club (1 year) national beta club (since 6th grade), and the city's youth council (2 years), all providing volunteer work to non-profit organizations, hospitals, and children. I am also currently enrolling in a dual enrollment community college program. I will use this money for my college tuition which will significantly assist my family's financial issues. Thank you for this opportunity.

Elijah C  on 10/11/2022 7:02:41 AM

Hello various staff members and fellow students. My name is Elijah Cooke. My family does not have enough money at the current time to fund any college costs that are not substantially reduced. Through my high school career, I have participated in the IB Diploma Program and maintained an A- average in challenging classes. In addition, I have participated in my school's marching band as a section leader and my school's Model United Nations club as a secretary and active member for all four years. I have also acted as a door-to-door and phone-based canvasser for a candidate for governor whom I supported, for a year, and had another job with a local nonprofit. Using a college education, I hope to reach the field of International Relations and have a positive impact in developing greater global bonds to promote wellness. In addition, I write often and plan to publish books. There are many enticing and deserving candidates for such a scholarship, I'm sure, but I'd greatly appreciate it if you would consider offering me a scholarship to help me achieve my goals.

Jimmy B  on 10/7/2022 8:00:26 AM

Hello, my name is Jimmy Brown. I am an African American Honor student since 2nd grade. I’m a senior at Junipero Serra High School, Gardena. I am applying for this scholarship so that my situation of financial hardship to go to college does not prevent me from my heart’s desire to help people as my future career. I’ve played football for 9 years straight and during my life time I’ve seen a lot of unhealthy people and multiple injuries. I want to help people especially upcoming generations and elderly get healthy and live and improve their bodies. I’ve been injured a few times but by Gods grace I recovered. Experience is the best teacher and my goal is to help and educate others so they won’t go through what I went through. My grandfather worked for Coca-Cola in Downey, CA for 32 years and is now retired.

Austin M  on 10/2/2022 11:04:48 AM

Mackenzie R  on 9/27/2022 1:20:54 PM

Hello, my name is Mackenzie Robinson and I am applying for this scholarship because I am working hard to get the education I need for my future. There are a lot of options I could go to school for like being a doctor, veterinarian, or beauty school. However, what I want to do after high school is open my own restaurant in a big city. To make my goals happen, I have been working 3 jobs while in high school. On my 18th birthday I got promoted to management at one establishment I work at and had to stop working at the others because I am now required to work 45 hours a week. Getting this scholarship means I can go to college while working less and focusing on my education more because thats what's most important.

I am currently a high school senior at Burlington High in Burlington, KS. I am 17 and I have a 3.76 GPA and a 22 on the ACT. I am applying for this scholarship to pay for my college. With only my moms and I's income to go off of money is really tight and getting this scholarship would help with a lot of stress and even pay pretty much all of my tuition. Having a job already promised to me after I get my licenses is a dream but I cannot do that without some help from scholarships.

Derek C  on 8/31/2022 9:59:56 AM

My name is Derek and I'm currently a senior enrolled in Illinois. I have been part of many leadership groups and teams over the years. But my main focus at the moment is to be able to move onto college. My GPA is 3.96 unweighted and 4.1 weighted which has been difficult to maintain with the obstacles created by COVID-19 which have affected me personally and my loved ones around me. It has made it even harder to find a job during that time which made it difficult to start saving for college as I don't have any savings held back for my future. If I got this scholarship it would mean the world to me as it would not only relive stress off my shoulders but my family's too as we are financially struggling. I hope to use this money to further my education and become a physical Therapist to help others in need as they have helped me.

Greetings! I am a rising senior attending Northwest Cabarrus High School with a 3.4 gpa. I am a go- getter when it comes to my education. Knowledge is power; this is why I would love to continue my education further. I participate in community service activities in Charlotte, NC whenever I am not at work to provide. I'm concerned that my family and I won't be able to afford my education to send me off to post-secondary school. When I get older I have big dreams to become a laboratory scientist that run tests for the national government. This scholarship would be a huge help to my family and I when I attend a 4 year college next year.

I'm soon going to become an uprising senior and I need all the help I can get. I received a 16 on my ACT and for now I have a GPA of a 3.8. For as long as I can remember, I have been an honor roll student since elementary school all the way throughout my years in high school with the support of my family. Due to my parents income and raising 3 children (my sister, autistic brother, and myself) they never completed their education. With this scholarship I will be the first of my parent's generation to apply to college/university to become someone in life.

Joslyn B  on 4/29/2022 11:08:01 AM

I am an active member in my community I volunteer with the Gulf Shore Opera, the Fort Myers Humane Society, the Westley Foundation. The achievement I am most proud of is coaching U9 girls soccer. I'm hoping this scholarship can help me continue my education well beyond high school.

I currently attend Flomaton High School in Flomaton Al, I would love the opportunity to attend college debt free. I'm the type of person who once makes their mind up to do something that's all to be said. Unfortunately with my parents attending college in the 80's and 90's, their success limits my financial aid through government programs like the fasfa. Thank you for reading this comment, and best of luck to all who apply.

I am an international student from Africa, and I am applying for this scholarship because I aspire to to be the first one in my family to complete their college education. I have been in the country by myself for five years, and I have supported myself and my Mom since 10th grade. I desperately need this scholarship because I am my first semester in college and I will not be able to come back next year, if I do not complete the payment for the first semester. I am very grateful and I appreciate this opportunity.

Christina T  on 12/4/2020 1:23:38 PM

I am a high school senior with a 3.7 GPA and have big plans for my future. So far my plan is to attend Arizona State University majoring in the field of Chemistry and to prepare myself to become a commissioned officer in the United States Navy through the Navy Recruit Officer Training Corp Program that is provided. My biggest issue with college is where my family and I will get the money to pay for it. I have a twin sister who is just as smart, if not smarter than I am, and that means my family will be paying for two people to go to college at the same time. If I could get this scholarship it could help my family and I pay for some out of the many expenses to come. Thank you for your time and consideration.

My name is Elaysia Becton, I am applying to try to win this scholarship to help my family get my into college. I want to go to college so I can try to give back to my mother. She has been my backbone for years. Even when there were times were our lights would get cut off she still made sure we had everything we needed, food on the table and clothes on our back. After I graduate and have money of my own from working I want to buy my mom a house, or even a new car. I want her to know that she is appreciated and nothing that she has been doing for me hasn't been recognized. Currently I work two jobs, Taco Bell and Rankin Physical Therapy. I am also a dual enrollment student at Shepherd University through my high school. If I won this scholarship I know nothing I can do would ever amount to what my mom has done for me but I can try.

I am a single mother finally chasing her dream to provide for her family. College is been an amazing opportunity for me but the cost has been a huge burden. Receiving this scholarship would allow me to save for both my children’s college experience. Without this scholarship I may have to take a break on college. That is something I am not willing to do. I need this more than anything so my children can have a college fund. Something my parents weren’t able to provide because it was not something in their own goals for me. Like a lot of other things. So, I’m trying to be a better parent and this would be a huge help to help me do for my children.

Marlette F  on 10/31/2020 1:30:28 AM

I love to do his physical therapy when I have the time because it is a passion. I believe I can become someone very important in the health and science field. Thankyou.

I am applying for this application because I would like to be the first of my family to go to college. I am from a household of a single parent, which is my mom. We recently just came to the United States for better opportunities and pursue my dreams. I currently have a GPA of 3.5. I have dedicated all my hard work to be the first to go to college and make my mom proud. My dream is to be a registered nurse and further my studies after. I would like to give back as much to the community and help as many people I can along my journey in life. Me applying for this scholarship won't only help pursue my dream, but also be beneficial to people I help along the way. This Scholarship is a motivator for me and I hope and pray that I will get the opportunity.

Hello my name Katherine Salamanca. I come from a big family, that is not able to afford to pay for me to continue school. I will like to win this prize to achieve my dream in being an architect. Most people say that they don’t see me being an architect just because I am a short girl. I had so many people not believing in me. I want to prove them wrong. That I am able to be a short girl working around construction. I have achieved one goal which is going to school for carpentry now I want to accomplish one of my BIGGEST goal in being an architect. And proving to people that anyone could do anything if they put their mind and strength into it.

I want to go for mechanical engineering, then specifically aviation engineering, so I can work at the air port near home and still be able to take care of my family.

I applied for this application because the schools I wanna go to are very high in tuition and I really have a dream of going to these high intuitional colleges, it would mean the world to me if I was able to win this scholarship. I’ve been in poverty and it’s so sad and I’m desperate for an opportunity. This will give me the opportunity I’m looking for and create a way I can support me and my family when I get a good paying job so we won’t be in poverty anymore.

Kassidy O  on 10/27/2020 2:12:53 PM

I am looking to earn a scholarship from your company. I am looking to pursue a career in ASL Interpreting so as to reduce the communication gap that is currently affecting our communities, to give those individuals a voice like someone gave me and not have to struggle like I did. As a dyslexic student, I have struggled through school since kindergarten, however in 9th grade I was given the opportunity to attend a 2yr wait-listed tutoring program utilizing the OG method to help with my dyslexia. I have held numerous positions in extra curricular clubs, and have volunteered in the deaf community. I am also in the process of completing the CCP program in my state of Ohio. I believe this has helped me finish my senior year strong - with a very good GPA, a strong ACT score and at the end of my high school year, I will also receive an Associates Degree simultaneously with my high school diploma. I feel it is a huge accomplishment and that I have overcome huge obstacles.

David C.  on 10/27/2020 8:44:17 AM

Hello to anyone reading, my name is David Cunningham. Although everyone else has listed their amazing and worthy reasons of why they should be getting this scholarship, I would like to think the reason I should get this scholarship is because I’m different. For example, I guarantee you not everyone took the time to read each other’s comments and even acknowledge each other. I am amazed and motivated by all of these students and their achievements. It makes me appreciate everyone as well as the things people are able to accomplish. Not one comment I read did this, so already, you can tell I am different. I feel as if I would make good use of this money, not because I have a 3.2 GPA, a dead mother to make proud, and grandparents that mean the world to me, but because I know I’m different. I know I can make an impact on this world, and in order to do so, this money would definitely be necessary to help me accomplish this through funding my time in college. Thank you.

Carlos G  on 10/26/2020 5:56:49 PM

I am a senior at Gateway High school and I am just eager to learn and change the world, I believe that change the world is a building process obviously that by tomorrow all problems with global warming, discriminations, and more animals being at risk of not existing anymore will not be solved but I believe that if the right people with the right tools can get rid of those over time. It is very important for me to make others around me feel better, happy, and positive. it is almost a mission for me to make others feel comfortable with themselves, who they are, I am the type of guy who would not ask others to change but to embrace their differences. I am just wishing for the well-being of others rather than mine, reason why if someone needs this opportunity to study and change the world more than me definitely give it to them, you decide. thanks for reading, take care, sorry but I can stop without saying I love Coca- Cola that is all thanks, sorry but I just could not!!!

I am a high school senior at Del Norte High School in California. I plan to go to a four year university to become a pediatrician. That being said, that will need to be in college for several years before being able to pursue my career. I want to avoid the stress on money for my family to allow me to school, so I want to apply to as many scholarships as I can to hopefully not have to ask my family for any financial help since they have my younger siblings to provide for.

Maricela C  on 10/26/2020 11:33:22 AM

I plan to attend TWU and major in nursing, but after nursing I want to go back to school to become a Physician's Assistant. I'm already financially independent, and my relation with my mother is not the best. If I say or do anything she will threaten to stop paying for tuition, or throw it in my face that she does pay for it. Due to that kind of personal experience, I have paid for everything on my own, including my car. I receive social security since my father passed away due to cancer, and didn't want to go to the hospital due to his legal status. My mother gave me the card to use and lashed out because I wasn't "saving" any money, but when I received the card, there was only $200 on it. We were never struggling financially when we received the card, it was just to make up for his absence of child support money. I could have around $60,000 if she had never spent all the money. She has used it for her nails or her hair, and now refuses to give it to me until I'm 18, in which there will be no money and I believe that I stop receiving funds at that age. I really need scholarships to be able to afford school without having to depend on my mother for it.

I am currently a senior at East Mills High School in Iowa. I would like to go to college to be an art/recreational therapist for children. I want to be a therapist so I can help people like my brother who struggles with Anxiety. One problem, the costs of college is too much for my family to pay without financial help. I would greatly appreciate it if I received this scholarship so I can help people.

Hi. I am a senior at Horace Greeley HS in Chappaqua NY. I am pursuing a scholarship to help finance my education. I do not think it is fair that my parents should have to bear the entirety of the substantial costs associated w higher learning for me. Due to my ADD diagnosis, I’m impaired but have worked hard to overcome my disability. I attend the specialized Life School and now do well in school proudly just super scoring a 27 on my ACT. I wish that I was able to contribute as they gave given me so much over the years. Love, support, understanding and all pursuits of mine. They work long long hours working each day saving for me for school. If I were to get a scholarship I would be eternally grateful and work hard in school to make them proud.

My name is Laura Macedo I'm a senior student in South Fork High School Stuart, FL. I believe that each person deserves an opportunity to improve but we all need a means to achieve it, in this case for me it is through a scholarship, I honestly believe that I deserve this scholarship because I have strive to always want to advance and improve. I always remember the good roots that my parents have instilled in me as well as the values ??that they have taught me, which in turn represent the person I am today. I have really worked hard to be here just to say that I had to separate from my parents at 17 and come from Mexico to this country and I have had to study, work full time, maintain good grades, learn a new language, help out in my community. , being involved in school activities always being busy, all this because I have always had the purpose of having better studies and preparation. I am very confident in myself and I know that I will achieve everything I set out to do, and for me it would be an honor to be able to count on the support of a scholarship like this to be able to continue giving my best and paying for my studies. Like me, they are very proud of what I have achieved so far but I know that I can and want to give more.

Lauren Pocica  on 10/13/2020 7:48:26 PM

Hello, I am a Senior in High School located in Palos Hills, IL. I am in the process of applying to colleges right now. Most of my life, I thought about becoming a meteorologist however, my interest have changed and I am thinking of directing my attention to obtaining a business degree. Right now, my goal is to graduate from college with a business degree and open a small store that I can operate on my own. I thought that at one time I could earn a scholarship for gymnastics until I got injured with five bulging discs in my lower back upon entering into High School. Then I turned to running cross-country and thought that I might have a chance at some kind of athletic scholarship. However, I now have knee injuries and problems with my hip, so I have to cross that off my list of hopes to gain an athletic scholarship. I now look on-line to find scholarships that I can apply for to help me pay for school. The Coca-Cola Scholarship would help me out so much and put less of a burdon on my parents. This is why I am applying for this scholarship.

I applied for this scholarship in order to attend the University of Arkansas to pursue a career as an English teacher. There is a lack of passion in teaching I have noticed at schools, and I am the one who will spark my future students' interest in the world of literature, to make them more than eager to learn and to be at school; however, I cannot do that without this scholarship. The University of Arkansas is the most expensive college in our natural state, meaning with a low income, I am not able to pursue the dreams yet to be achieved without the help of the Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship. Thank you for your time.

Lileigh G  on 10/8/2020 11:38:58 AM

Hello, I applied to this scholarship! I am the youngest out of five and none of my siblings have attended college due to the cost. I have considered many times whether I should attend college. I have decided that this is the best thing that I can do for myself and others. My mother is a single parent and the most hardworking person I know. She always makes sure to give us what we need, but college is extremely expensive and this is far out of her reach. I don't expect my mother to help me with the cost of college, although she will try to. I want to do this myself. I want and need this scholarship to help pursue my education and figure out what career best suits me. Thank you for giving me this opportunity.

I am excited to follow in the footsteps of a family member who won this scholarship in 2016. We come from humble hardworking Christian families who have overcome many unbelievable challenges. My family has suffered with major medical issues, which has cause tremendous financial difficulties. However, my parents have always instilled in me that by putting God and my grades first, I will be successful in life. I have been a honor student my entire career with the hopes of becoming a Pediatric Physical therapist. The Covid-19 Pandemic has created many obstacles for for us all but I will not use that as an excuse just another huddle to jump. I am hoping to maintain and better my 3.4 GPA during these trying times. If someone else is more deserving, I am prepared to work hard and go to school to achieve my goals dreams! I am excited for the opportunity!

I have been postponing things until I get my full information on what school I would like to go to and what scholarships i should sign up for. Alyssa L  on 9/19/2020 9:11:25 PM

Hi, my name is Alyssa and I'm currently a high school senior under these unforeseen circumstances. I plan to attend the University of Alabama and study pediatric dentistry. My mom has always been a big inspiration to me as she raised both my brother and I on her own with little assistance. My father has never been a part of my life, however my mother always made sure education was top priority. With this being said, I would love to receive this scholarship and further my knowledge without creating undo hardship to her.

Valencia W.  on 9/19/2020 5:08:22 PM

Hello, my name is Valencia, I'm currently a senior in Carl Wunsche Sr. High School. I am applying for this scholarship. I would love to get this scholarship because for all this time I never got a job to earn money because I wanted to receive my driver's license first before I applied for a job. From not being able to save any money from working it makes it impossible to pay for college at the moment. I would love to pay fully for my college education, so my caring, loving, supporting parents don't have to for me. I don't want to have to depend on my parents for college. I want to work hard and take care of all the expenses by my own hand. My parents already have their struggles, tasks to do, and bills to pay for, so I urgently don't want them to spend even a penny towards my further education in the near future. This scholarship's prize would definitely help me with my goal for the future, and would help my follow my dream career.

Ja'Larris W  on 9/18/2020 10:15:04 AM

Hey, my name is Ja'Larris and I attend Clements High School. I would love to get this scholarship because paying out of pocket for college will be hard for me and my family, so this scholarship will make it easier for me to pay for college. Sincerely, Ja'Larris.

Jada D  on 9/17/2020 7:34:03 PM

Hi! My name is Jada, and I am a Senior at Hillgrove High School and a Dual-Enrollment student at Chattahoochee Technical College. I have been dual-enrolled since the fall of 2019, which makes me both a senior in high school and a sophomore in college! I am applying for this scholarship because I would like to attend Georgia State University and their cost are a little pricey. COVID-19 has hugely affected my family, and I believe this scholarship would help my parents not worry about how they will pay for my college experience.

Hi, I'm a senior in high school at a small povertity school. I am applying for this application to further my education and be one of the few that are attending college. Hi sir I am studying BS computer science now i am in 6th semester due to covid-19 I can't pay my semester fee. So i want to apply for this Scholerships to pay my semester fee so i can continue my studies. Thank you

Serenity H.  on 9/11/2020 3:15:47 PM

I'm not applying for this scholarship because it's for students looking for a masters degree and I'm going to earn a bachelors degree. I have wanted to go to Rocky Mountain College since the first time I read through their course list. They are the ONLY school in the world to have an Equine Management and it's the only place I want to go. I still have two years to find the right financial aid but I'm going to have to pay for everything myself. All the equipment and clothes, the tack, room and food, not to mention the course itself. I may not even get accepted by this school and if that's the case, I will have to pick a whole new major and take Equine Management as a minor. Not ideal but I want to have degree and own my own place. Even if it means I major in another branch of Equine Studies. Thanks.

Shanley L  on 9/9/2020 3:52:44 PM

Hiya! I'm a senior in high school, and I am applying for this scholarship because although my parents make a chunk of money, I am in charge of paying for my own college. The college I want to go to is really expensive, almost TOO expensive. But I have been waiting my whole life for this moment. To get a degree in the 1 thing that I can contribute greatly to society with, art. If I win, consider yourself having a future great character concept designer that's going to one day make a character you may grow to love and relate to.

Hi, I have been researching scholarships and I am looking for ways to pay for college without causing my parents or myself to go into debt. Both my parents work very hard and have always been able to provide for my brother and myself. I am entering my Senior year of High School and I am already looking at applying colleges to get a head start on things. I didn't realize how much attending college can cost and I know my parents are stressed about paying for it. They have done so much for me and I want to help in any way I can. Thank you for reading my comment. Kaylyn

Zarreiah H  on 8/12/2020 2:41:16 AM

I am currently applying for this scholarship now. I am a junior in high school. I feel like this would be a great opportunity for me. I am a huge overachiever and I don’t stop until I succeed in my goals. I currently live in Chicago and things are very bad. I want to do good and get away but I know that’s very expensive too. I want to show my little brother and sister that doing good and pushing yourself in school is what’s right. I want to be a pediatrician and I want to go to a nice school that’s safe so I can focus on my journey to my dream job. I want to be successful in life. I have 2 more years of high school left and I really want to enjoy it and feel the relief of knowing that I will have a good amount of money to get me into the school I want without going into debt. I want to make my loved ones proud and myself. I want to wake up and tell myself “good job” you did this, you wanted it and you got it. Thank you for taking the time out of your daddy to read my comment. Have a great day

I am currently a senior in high school, in the middle of the unfortunate Covid-19 pandemic. My mother is a single parent, and she provides for the both of us paycheck to paycheck. In the beginning months of the pandemic, she didn't have the opportunity to work or save any money. She makes below 32k annually and a lot of the money is put towards taxes, billing and food. We are not under the right circumstances to provide a college education for myself out of pocket, but I am very optimistic about my future and I am prepared for my post-secondary education upon graduating. I have attended rigorous courses and completed them and I am a very attentive and conscientious student, ready to start the next chapter of my life in university. Earning this scholarship would be life changing; I would then be able to focus on my collegiate studies, instead of finances.

SharMonika B  on 7/28/2020 10:23:55 PM

Hey! So at this moment I am a senior at Granville Academy. I'm applying for the Coca-Cola scholarship because I just got accepted into this amazing college but the tuition is $40,000. I have received a $17,000 plus a $1,000 scholarship for visiting the University. I have been looking at scholarships but haven't gotten any luck so far because I end up not being fit for it. My grades are really good but I know that there are still room for improvement even with my A and B honor roll. I have a 3.395 GPA and I am hoping to become a CRNA in the future.

My plan after high school is to attend Jackson State University and major is Business Management. The reason I am applying for this scholarship is because I don’t have the necessary funds for college , so I am hoping to receive scholarships . Receiving this scholarship might not only help me not resist debt , but I also will have a better chance at becoming successful. Thank you for the opportunity to apply !

Hello there. I'm currently a college sophomore at cottey college. Cottey College is in Missouri, my mother had gone to this school and has always pushed me to go there to have similar experiences as she had. This past year my mother had passed away from many auto-immune diseases. I have a twin sister that is attending Tampa. My family is on one parent's income. This scholarship would help me because I don't want my father paying a lot of money because he has children attending college this year and another child attending a tuition-based school because there was need of better education. I planned on studying Business administration and management. This degree will help me learn more business and hopefully helps me open a small business. This scholarship would help me and my father to save money.

Marissa D.  on 6/23/2020 2:20:36 PM

My daughter is a class of 2020 graduate and she's an outstanding young lady and study. She's been accepted into a University here in Georgia, however even with the HOPE scholarship I'm going to have to come out of pocket for thousands of dollars just for her to attend college. I don't want to make it noticeable to her that its going to be a hard for us to come up with the money. She's already missed out on a lot during this pandemic as far as her senior year in high school. She's eager to start college in the fall. This scholarship would happy in many, many ways to make her dreams of being a pediatrician come true.

One of my top priority is to attend college and be able to major in Biology. My parents have always made every decision for me and I have always been dependent on them but I wanted to learn and grow independent. I wanted to make myself and my parents proud on what I decide to do in life.

Hello, I'm a senior with a great GPA! I'm active in my school, church, and community. I need to apply for this scholarship to help pay for my education. I've been accepted in a Junior College and after that I plan to attend a four year University in Arkansas.

Naya M  on 5/7/2020 11:21:17 AM

Goodevening and Hello, I want to be able to make a change, and the first step to make serious change in my neighborhood is to have a quality college education. The problem is financial means, I live in one of the poorest neighborhoods in NYC, along with the fact my parents are extremely poor I have little chance of being to pay for college on my own. If I was to obtain a scholarship like this one, paying for college would be easier on me and my family. I want to inspire the kids in my community to be something, not to sit up in the bronx and continue the cycle of poverty. I want to be a politician who has seen the horrors of poverty and abusive situations and has flourished in the end.

The Coca Cola Scholars Program is known to change lives. I pray day and night that you can change mine. Thank you for a chance and good luck to the ones applying. Emily A  on 4/17/2020 1:46:04 PM

Hello, I am currently a junior in high school. I heard about the Coca Cola Scholarship through research i have been recently done online. I currently employed and i have been employed since the moment i turned 16. I have been working for almost a year now at Target and while the money is wonderful and has taught me valuable skills such as money management and savings it does not amount to how much money i will need to study in college. Alongside working i have also done sports in my free time. I have been wrestling since my sophomore year of high school varsity and it has shaped me in so many different ways shapes and forms throughout high school to be the stable individual i am today. Now as far as my parents go they are a huge help and super supportive of everything i do and have allowed me to live i would say a super great life. Growing up i did not come from much money but my parents never fell short to give me everything i needed in life. Over the years my parents became a lot more stable with money and created better budgeting habits. My parents have always drilled into my head that if i do not want to struggle the way we did growing up i need an education. Both my mother and father never got the education they wanted and needed due to their financial situations growing up. My mother and fathers experiences most definitely made me the relentless person i am today because my goal has always to become something more and give value, purpose, and overall respect to my name. I am not an only child i also have two other siblings both in which did not finish high school or attend college/trade school. One of my biggest goals in life is to give my parents the pride that my siblings did not deliver. My parents worked countless hours and jobs to give me the life i had growing up. I do not like asking for things from them and one of my earliest memories in life is letting them know i would be the one to make them proud and that is my goal and I am forever sticking to it.

Hello! I am currently a junior in high school. I have heard about the Coca-Cola scholarship many, many times before from multiple people, but never really gave it much attention because I was younger then and thought I had a ways to go. Well, I have two more years of school and I would like to have the burden of college debt and worrying about if I am going to be able to financial support myself without the help of my family, lifted. My family has already has already done so much and sacrificed so much, and I just want to be able to do this on my own and make them and myself proud. I would like to major in zoology. I would also like to attend New York Film Academy and graduate with a Masters of Fine Arts (MFA). Thank you, for taking the time to read my comment! I hope you all have a wonderful, safe, and healthy day! Dearest regards, Miracle S

Jensyn G  on 12/15/2019 11:11:43 PM

I feel as though most college scholarships go off of ACT/SAT scores, which may be great for some people, but unlike myself, I am an awful test taker. Not only is Coca-Cola the best soda to drink, but it also is an easy scholarship to apply for that is not based off of test scores. If I were to win the Coca-Cola scholarship, I would use it for my college tuition where I will be a full time student, athlete, and be working, for housing, groceries, and books. There are scholarships out there for everyone, so start looking!

Joaquin Derick R. Castillo  on 8/20/2019 1:13:25 AM

How can I apply scholarship?

candace b  on 8/18/2019 4:51:06 PM

A lot of students think that you have to be really smart with great test scores to get scholarships and that might be true for some but it certainly isn't true for all, which is why I love companies like Coca-Cola who offer scholarships based on more than just test scores! My parents are amazing people but we are a very big family and if they tried to pay for my tuition plus my siblings' as well then they would never be able to leave their home, haha. There are so many scholarships out there to help pay for tuition and school you just have to go out there and get them. don't be lazy!

Ethan N  on 10/31/2018 8:30:23 PM

Greetings, my name is Ethan Nobre and I attend Arthur L Johnson High School, in Clark New Jersey. I am applying for this scholarship because my brother has graduated from an expensive university and my parents are still paying his hefty loans. I would like to soften the impact on my parents' wallets. I serve my community by participating in events such as the Christmas Festival held annually at our community center. I help set up the decorations and run raffle stands. I also am involved in many clubs at my school such as history club, speech and debate, and science league. I try my best to improve myself constantly by involving myself within these clubs and try to grow as a person. This past summer I also decided to apply for a part-time job at ShopRite to become less dependent on my parents for money. Working at ShopRite helped me realize much time and work money is really worth which makes me appreciate my parents much more.

Sophie R  on 10/30/2018 12:51:35 PM

My name is Sophie Rogers. I am applying for the Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship because I would like to help ease some of the costs my parents will be burdened with in order to send me to undergraduate and dental school. The more I can help, the more likely I will not be in debt when I graduate from college and dental school. I think the thought of debt after college keeps many people from attending college and that's unfortunate. Opportunities like these from sponsors like Coca-Cola make attaining a college degree more feasible. A little bit about myself: I was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and lived there for 13 years; the summer before seventh grade my family and I moved to Cumming, GA, a small town just north of Atlanta, where as a junior I began attending the University of North Georgia as a dual enrollment student while in high school; this past summer before senior year, we moved to San Diego, CA, where I attend Palomar College as a dual enrollment student in high school; by the end of my senior year in June of 2019, I will have not only my high school diploma, but my Associates in Arts degree. Getting my AA degree while in high school will further help keep my parents' college costs down and me from college debt after graduation since as a dual enrollment student college courses are cost free. I am interested in Biological Sciences but have not yet determined what biology major I will work toward. My ultimate goal is to go to dental school. This past summer I did an internship at Brandeis University in Boston where I worked with people with cerebral palsy. It was very eye opening. I learned that many people with cerebral palsy do not receive the proper dental care and, since I was already interested in becoming a dentist, it inspired me to do a fundraiser for Dentistry for Developmentally Disabled (DDD) as well as, along with my parents, donate dental medical supplies to DDD. I come from a very loving, close-knit family that includes my

Breydon A  on 10/29/2018 7:41:36 AM

Arabella D  on 10/27/2018 4:26:47 PM

Hello! My name is Arabella Davis and I go to Sonoma Valley High School in Sonoma, CA. And my father, who is a felon and I choose to not have a relationship with, does not pay child support. Additionally, I have contributed over 3,000 hours of help towards my mother's business over the past 4 years while continuing to juggle school and helping on our ranch at home.

Abigail T  on 10/24/2018 2:24:22 PM

Hello my name is Abigail Turner and I go to Strongsville High School in Strongsville, Ohio. I am applying for this scholarship so that I can save as much as I can for schooling. I am the middle child in my household. My sister moved to Florida a few months ago causing my parents to pay a lot of money. So I would like to help as much as I can to pay for college, especially since my parents still have my brothers schooling to pay for. I have worked as hard as I can when it comes to school work for as long as i can remember. I have many responsibilities outside of high school. Including a job, college classes and helping out my parents with my brother as much as I can since they both work full time. Helping out with my younger brother with his homework when my parents can't, and babysitting other kids has made me realize I want to become a Teacher. I want to help kids succeed in life. If I receive this scholarship, it will really help me pay for my education degree. Thank you so much for this opportunity!

I work hard in school and basketball but mainly because it’s my dream and what I love to do!

I am applying for this scholarship to not only aid my parents in the tuition cost of college, but to also make them proud. My hard-working parents are entrepreneurs and their long hours of labor have truly been the root of my inspiration and ambition; I work hard and put all my effort into the activities I am involved in at school and into my academic studies. I have obtained a leadership position on the National Honor Society which is held at a high standard at my high school, and it gives me purpose and allows me to express my leadership abilities. I am also a senior yearbook editor and head of a yearbook committee with an estimate amount of forty people. I have attended business programs and leadership conferences at Yale University in Connecticut, Harding University in Arkansas, and programs with the National Youth Leadership Forum Programs, as well as receiving a medal of recognition for academic achievement by NSHSS hosted by Columbia University. I intend to use this scholarship as an opportunity to utilize my ambition and leadership skills, but to also prove to my parents that America is truly a land of opportunity.

Hello! my name is Jay Aloria and I go to Oak Glen High school, located in New Cumberland, WV. I am applying for your scholarship to help pay for my education because I have no other means other than my mom who has a husband that tells her not to help me, I know she will still do it despite that would cause trouble on their marriage because she is a good mother like that, I don't want to be the reason and I don't want to be the cause to jeopardize their relationship, they have a son (my brother) and I don't want for him to see them fight over me. If I can get your scholarship it would mean she does not need to worry about me and it would help me tremendously! Thank you for this opportunity!

Hi, I'm just trying to do my part as a member of my family. My dad is the provider in this family, and he breaks his back every night. I want to do this for him to show I understand and that I appreciate everything he does for us.

DeJuana S  on 10/9/2018 6:39:13 PM

My name is DeJuana Simmons. I applied for this scholarship because my mother is a single mother, who tries her best to provide my every need. Unfortunately, college is very expensive and she doesn't have the funds to send me to the college of my choice. Growing up, I watched my mom work two to three jobs just to buy me the things I asked for. Recently, she hurt her leg at work and had to have a total hip replacement, so money became very slim in my household after she had to stop working for a couple of months. Now that she has started back working, her source of income isn't helping as much as it did because she's now limited to only working one job. This scholarship would help my mom and I out so much because my tuition, and institutional fees would be paid and my mom would not be in debt.

Alessandra F  on 10/7/2018 5:52:48 PM

Hi my name is Alessandra and I attend Kapolei High School in Hawaii. When I saw your scholarship I was immediately interested and just knew I had to apply. It’s really uncommon in Hawaii for kids to leave the state and go to college so it’s hard doing what I’m trying to do. In Hawaii, it’s a lot more expensive than other states so it requires families to make more money than a usual American family. When applying for FAFSA and what not, this could be hard for families here since we’re only making what we need to survive. Getting this scholarship would mean the world to me so I wouldn’t have to worry about my parents working extra hard for my education. Or worrying about debt when I should be focused on grades and getting my degree. But none of this problem would make me less motivated, through out my high school career I’ve motivated myself to do better and help my community. My favorite thing I’m doing at the moment is my schools peer mentoring counselors in training. I get to meet underclassmen and help them through their problems, something I wish I had at their ages. It honestly feels so good that I get to do this and it not even for the college transcripts. I just feel like a better person when I can help others and make them happy!

Kyla W  on 10/3/2018 10:01:53 AM

Hello, my name is Kyla Wooten and I am senior at Polk County High School, TN, who represents my school's Gay-Straight Alliance, as the president. I live along the bible belt of the United States and I constantly face disagreeing and bashing comments and petitions from angry parents or members of the community, claiming, "Your club is forcing sexuality and sin upon our children, you need to disband it." I constantly have to write apologetic letters and cards to the people who cannot seem to say anything to me except words that tear me down and hurt. I love the members in my club and how they never let the words of bullies at my school get to them because they know that if they need someone, that I am here for them and will rightfully stand up to any issues caused because of how someone is as a person. I love being a leader and to represent my underappreciated peers and would like to get a degree in Engineering to further help my community and improve the future world.

Hannah P  on 10/3/2018 9:51:36 AM

Hi, my name is Hannah Perra-French. I have four younger siblings and a single mother who works tirelessly as a nurse, and this scholarship would really help us out with financial needs. My mom wants me to go to whatever college my heart desires, but we both know that money will ultimately have a big say in where I decide to go. Being granted this scholarship would give me the ability to go to school without worrying about how my education costs are (negatively) affecting my family at home. Education is very important to me, and I’m a hard worker in everything I am passionate about. If I were to be given this scholarship money, I’ll prove that I really do appreciate it by putting all of my focus towards college, rather than worrying about where the money to pay for college will come from. Thank you so much for your consideration.

Bobby G  on 9/27/2018 9:49:57 AM

Hi! My name is Bobby Gioia and I go to Smithtown High School West in Smtithtown, New York. I am interested in this scholarship because I feel that I try to make a difference as much as I can in my community. I run a local charity with some of my closest friends, which is called Kidz Charity Productionz. Our message that we try to convey is that anyone can make a difference, no matter what age you are. We coordinate the entire event ourselves and hold a carnival to raise money for a sponsored child. This year, we raised over $18,000, all for an 8 year old girl in our community who needs help paying her medical bills. We are a non-profit organization, so our main goal is just to bring the community together in someone's time of need. I am planning on going into Marketing and Public Affairs in college, so I can further learn how to spread my message across the country and help as many people as I can.

Julia H  on 9/17/2018 8:29:24 PM

Hello, my name is Julia Holte and I go to John Marshall Harlan High School, located in San Antonio, Texas. I am applying for your scholarship in order to pay for my education myself, and help my parents save for my younger siblings. I grew up the “middle child” but my older sister moved before I turned four, making me the oldest in the household. I live with my two parents, who work full time, my younger sister, Melody, and my new adopted brother, Daniel. Between driving Daniel to school and cleaning and cooking for my mom, before she gets home late at night, I am a leader in my community. Beginning in fifth grade, I would help kids cross the street and find their way to the doors through safety patrol in my primary school. Once, I reached middle school, I was allowed to help the three, four, and five year old children at our local community church, learn about different obstacles to overcome and help certain children get out of abusive homes that they are unaware of. Through this church, I was placed in Christmas musicals, which sparked my passion for the arts. Now, as a senior in high school, I help direct each show and work lights, sound, and choreography. In addition, I am a leader at my school being Secretary and now, President of our Thespian Troupe, I help students gain confidence in their performance and aid them on their path through high school. I am applying for your scholarship because, I am a leader and I hope to get an education, major in Fine Arts, and really be able to help others. Thank you for this opportunity.

Hello! My name is Shakenya Hester. I am applying for this scholarship so that schooling for me will not cost as much. I am the eldest of two and I take on a large amount of responsibilities. My mother is a single parent trying to make ends meet to take care of her children. Even though I have various responsibilities, I still make sure that I’m at the top of my game when it comes to my school work . I’ve worked hard for so long and now I think it’s actually going to pay off! If I’m a recipient of this scholarship, I can continue to show my peers what a great leader I am. If I win this scholarship, it would motivate them to do better. Why? In the county that we are from, no one thinks that we can actually do great things. We are always talked down on and not supported on any level. It gets hard sometimes but we continue keep our heads up and strive for excellence daily. With that being said, I plan to continue leading my peers in the right direction!

I have applied for this scholarship because I have a disability that refrains me from doing physical things such as sports. I have a condition call Ehlers Danlos Syndrome type IV vascular. It is a connective tissue disorder that affects my joints and sometimes my ability to do things. I am only 16 but I have a regular cardiologist that I have to see because the type that I have affects my heart. I also have an orthopedic doctor for my chronic back pains. My biggest flaw is the fact that I never ask anyone for help and that tears my body up more when I try to do things on my own. It is pretty cool though. My skin is extremely elastic and one of my favorite things to do is to pull on my skin and freak people out with it. This is because my skin is a lot more thin than the average person but the downside to that is that it can tear very easily. I get upset sometimes because I really would love to play sports but my body just can't handle it. So I've decided to apply for this scholarship because my academic work is pretty good and I want to be able to earn money for college even though I can't do what most people can.

Sa'Mya O  on 8/5/2018 1:54:22 PM

I applied because I want to be a journalist and be able to spread information to those who need it in an accurate, quick way. I don't feel I will receive it due to my lack of community service in my freshman and sophomore year. If you have good grades and are active in the community, this scholarship is for you!

Elliot S  on 3/11/2018 7:51:47 PM

Hello. My name is Elliot Shively (i'm a girl haha) and I am currently a senior at Edina High School in Minnesota. I live with my Mother, Father, and sister Murphy (13) and would love a chance to be accepted for this scholarship. My love for children as well as senior citizens has always been such a high priority in my life assuming after I graduated from college, I would automatically become some type of therapist but, while recently being hired at a senior living home, my whole perspective on life and how I treat others has completely changed. Serving at a local kids club helping the children to read and write, helping teach soccer to little kids, alter serving for my church when I have the time, serving at a local senior living home and recently being requested to work there has changed what I want to do for a living as a whole. In college, I would still love to major in psychology and minor in communications so I can later in life, give back to my community. I have been working at The Waters Assisted Living home for about 4 months now and work 5-6 days a week. Showing up to work everyday and knowing that I could be the one to make their day just a little brighter means the world to me. Most of the money I make goes straight into my savings to help pay for my upcoming college degree. This scholarship would absolutely mean the world to me and my family. My mother is a dental assistant and my father is a sales representative and are both working with people day in and day out, so it's easy to assume where I got my love for people from. I realize that it's a long shot that I will get this scholarship, but even being considered for this application is an honor. Thanks so much for your time and God bless.

Bailie R  on 1/11/2018 6:04:22 PM

I will be applying for this scholarship next year. I will also be applying for many other scholarships as my family can not afford much of a college education. My sister has leukemia and we are all focusing our time and money on her.

Cherokee M  on 8/29/2017 7:46:31 PM

My name is Cherokee Madden. I am a senior in a small town named Hartshorne. I attend a boarding school called Jones Academy. I have a small taste in dorm life and I would love to attend a college, but there is one rather large problem. I come straight from poverty. I work for everything I get. Over the years I began to develop a love for American history and politics, and just recently I made a decision to pursue a masters degree in history. I would love to teach history to either a university or a local college. I just need the right materials and financial support. I would also love to pursue a degree in communications if the masters in history falls through. I have exquisite skills in public speaking and would love to make something more of that. I am an avid member of fighting verbal and physical abuse against children and teens. Recently in the past year, a friend and I gained an entire dorms signature to put a dormitory staff on investigation for mentally abusing students. Although she is still in her position, I used my voice and others to gain attention. I truly believe that students mental health plays an entirety to how they acquire knowledge needed for growth. This scholarship would help me teach kids the importance of American history, or help gain a voice for oppressed students.

Eloise B  on 8/17/2017 10:19:49 PM

Hello! My name is Eloise Bullis. I'm a senior at St Pauls Episcopal School in Mobile having attended since Pre-K in 2004, the year I started raising money for and rescuing abandoned and stray dogs and finding them forever homes. I called my little enterprise "Underdog!" Because, well, it seemed the perfect fit for what I was fighting for! Since 2004, I've committed hundreds of hours to volunteerism, rescue, foster care and home placement to try and change the statistics of 5 abandoned dogs per every homeless person. I'd like to attend one of several top picks, my favorite now being College of Charleston, and use video production and communications skills to produce documentaries and improved adoption programs for abused and abandoned dogs as well as raise awareness for the need of greater funding for more and improved adoption facilities. Dogs need love, too and there are no bad dogs! Just irresponsible owners. I want to change the fate of the underdogs!

morgan b  on 7/25/2017 8:15:38 PM

Hello, my name is Morgan Balovich. I attend Juneau Douglas High School in Alaska. My senior year of high school starts in 23 days and I am terrified yet excited to start my unknown journey as an adult. I would love nothing more in this world to attend Portland State University and take part in their outstanding Business administration, management and leadership program. Ever since I was a little girl I've always been a leader. I am now softball team captain, basketball team captain, lead yearbook photographer and an active, leading member in my community. This scholarship would provide me with the chance to hone my leadership skills and better myself in a way that would allow me to serve and lift up the people in my community. My philosophy is that I do not wish to be a domineering leader, but instead lift up my peers and the people around me so they can set forth and eventually learn to lead and govern themselves in a bright and positive way.

It will prioritizes low-families that struggle giving their children the education they're entitled to. I would love to have this scholarship! Tiffany S  on 10/26/2015 11:09:20 PM

Of course I applied for this scholarship! I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a scholarship from my favorite drink! Every time I step onto the golf course, I crack open a cold Coca-Cola, and just take in the view. I remember the last time I didn't drink a Coke before going out to play 18 holes, I shot a 97, and ended up in 16th place. The very next tournament, I went back to my old habits, and drank a Coke before heading out to the number 1 tee box... I shot an 85 that day putting me in 1st place overall. To this day, I've never not had a Coke before a game of golf, and its never going to change! Thank you, Tiffany States Senior Apple Valley High School

Tyler M  on 10/26/2015 7:55:00 PM

My name is Tyler McCann, I live with my parents in Tennessee, and I'm a first generation college student. With that being said, I'm paying for my college tuition which is rather nerve racking, considering I'm currently jobless (but am, in fact, looking for a job). I plan on attending Tennessee Technical Institute in the fall of 2016, pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering (hopefully a Master's). My freshman and sophomore years of high school were rather lackluster academically due to a lack of effort or self application, but beginning my junior year I finally began to apply myself, and went from a 3.2GPA student to a straight A student taking AP classes, including Calculus and Literature. Taking the ACT for the first time back in April, I scored a 26, and I'm currently awaiting my scores on my most recent attempt at the ACT, aiming for a 28. Ultimately, any scholarship would be a blessing!

Wynequa C  on 10/26/2015 4:58:32 PM

I am a senior at Taft Union High School, and i had a job here at my high school, but am in need of a higher paying job. If it were possible for your company to help my education out, I would be incredibly grateful. My GPA stays above a 3.0 at all times. Please and thank you :)

My name is Jessica Prokott. I'm a Minnesotan. I live with my parents. My dad makes a lot of money, but I have to pay for 10% of my college tuition, room and board. I don't have a job currently, so it'll be difficult for me to come up with the money because I plan on going to Bethel, where the tuition per year is $43,000. Even $2,000 would be extremely helpful. I have. a 3.4 GPA currently and I scored a 21 on the ACT.

With college more affordable, I won't have to work during college and be able to focus entirely on college.

Having the opportunity to get finanical help gives me hope for the future. My family and i would greatly appreciate the extra help. So i encourage people to apply for any scholarship you see, it wont hurt to try,. Good Luck to Seniors 2010
