  • Scholarship Description
  • The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) awards continuing education grants of financial aid for study in undergraduate course work. Financial aid is available to students who are enrolled in an undergraduate program in a
    North Dakota college or university. Students must be enrolled in an educational program that meets the recruitment needs and mission of the NDDOT. A few examples are: civil or construction engineering, engineering technology, and diesel technology. Students who are available for paid summer internships with the Department are preferred. Grant recipients may use proceeds of the grant for educational expenditures only. An individual may receive a grant per semester of enrollment in an appropriate degree program. Upon graduation, recipients must agree to work for the Department for a period of time at least equal to the grant study period. Recipients who do not accept employment with the Department or fail to complete the employment period, must repay the grant on a prorated basis at 6% interest.
