CORE Philly Scholarship Program

The College Opportunity Resources for Education (CORE) Scholarship is available only to high school seniors. To qualify, you must be a resident of the city of Philadelphia, along with at least one parent or legal guardian, and must be a graduate of a Philadelphia public, charter, archdiocese, or private high school. Additionally, you must be pursuing either an associate's or a bachelor's degree at one of the following institutions of higher education:

Bloomsburg University
California University of Pennsylvania
Cheyney University
Clarion University
East Stroudsburg University
Edinboro University
Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP)
Kutztown University
Lock Haven University
Mansfield University
Millersville University
Shippensburg University
Slippery Rock University
West Chester University
Lincoln University of Pennsylvania
Penn State University
Penn College of Technology
Temple University
the University of Pittsburgh
the University of Pennsylvania
The recipient of this scholarship must be graduating high school in the same year of using the scholarship and may use the award only during their freshman year.
