  • Scholarship Description
  • Capture the Dream, Inc. offers the Single Parent Scholarship to graduating high school seniors and college
    undergraduate students who will be enrolled at accredited, not-for-profit two or four-year institutions in the fall term. Each scholarship winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship to be mailed to their college or university.

    Eligibility:
    -Must be a Bay Area resident. Bay Area residence is defined as having lived in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area for the two years (24 months) preceding the application deadline. The Bay Area's nine (9) counties are Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma
    -Must be from a low-income household
    -Must be the legal parent/guardian of one or more minor children
    -Must be enrolled at an accredited, not-for-profit two or four-year institution in the upcoming fall term
    -Upon selection, scholarship recipients must provide proof of annual household income, proof of enrollment,
    and any additional documents required within two weeks of notification to substantiate the information provided and avoid being disqualified
    -Employees of Capture the Dream, Inc. and relatives of officers are not eligible for this program
