  • Scholarship Description
  • Grand Rapids Community Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships annually primarily to Kent County students bound for or in college, or those pursuing a technical career.

    To be eligible for the Jacob R. & Mary M. VanLoo & Lenore K. VanLoo Scholarship, students must be residents of Kent County (3 year minimum) and will be attending Grand Rapids Community College or Grand Valley State University. Applicants must have financial need and a minimum 3.0 GPA.
