  • Scholarship Description
  • Hispanic Annual Salute offers a minimum $2,000 scholarship to Hispanic youth who exhibit and encourage volunteerism. We provide students an opportunity to continue their education beyond high school. HAS scholarships are unique because they're not only based on grades but also on character.

    Eligibility:
    -Graduate from high school during the current academic year
    -Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
    -Perform notable volunteer contribution in the Hispanic community; specifically unpaid volunteer activity not related to fulfilling a requirement for a school activity
    -Reside in Colorado

    Submission Materials:
    -Completed and signed Hispanic Annual Salute Youth Award Application
    -List of community service
    -Essay
    -Three (3) letters of recommendation
    -Official high school transcript
    -Employment or School Activities
    -Recipients are required to attend the annual gala
