  • Scholarship Description
  • The LEAD (Learning and Educating About Disabilities) Foundation is offering a $1,000 annual scholarship to a student who is a Colorado resident with a documented learning disability and/or ADHD.

    Eligibility:
    -Must have a documented, specific learning disability or ADHD
    -Hold a 2.8 minimum GPA

    Submission materials:
    -A completed application
    -Two letters of recommendation (one from a teacher or counselor who is aware of the student's disability. A third letter is optional)
    -Official high school transcript
    -Proof of specific learning disability

    On a separate piece of paper, write a brief (300 words or less each) answer to each of the following questions. Keep the ideal candidate for this scholarship in mind when answering the questions:
    1. Give an example of how you have demonstrated Leadership.
    2. What are some of your Educational strengths?
    3. Give examples of how you Advocated for yourself in high school. How do you plan to advocate for
    yourself in college?
    4. What would you like to Do with you education?
