  • Scholarship Description
  • The Century Scholars Program (CSP) is a partnership between Texas A&M University and 108 high schools throughout the state of Texas. The Century Scholars Program is an academic scholarship and retention program seeking to increase the number of enrolled and retained students from under-represented Texas high schools. The program serves as a four-year learning community in which its students are developed holistically and prepared for the rigors of the academic and professional arenas.

    Students selected as Century Scholars are awarded $20,000 over four years, as well as a $1,000 Study Abroad Stipend. But the Century Scholars Program is more than just a monetary award; it offers students access to a first-rate education and programs that prepare students to become state, national, and world leaders:

    -Academic support and hands-on contact with advisors
    -Mentorships with faculty
    -Freshman seminar course that focuses on academic and personal success, campus involvement, community engagement, and civic responsibility
    -Opportunities to serve as a Century Scholars Ambassadors

    To be eligible to apply for the Century Scholars Program, students must attend a designated Century Scholar high school. To apply, a prospective student must first complete an application for admission to Texas A&M University and a scholarship application.
