  • Scholarship Description
  • The A.F. Clement Trust Scholarship was established in 1970 and repurposed in 2011 to provide scholarships for students who have been in foster care or had two deceased parents prior to the student's 18th birthday. The scholarship may provide up to two renewable awards for students who will pursue post-secondary education or vocational training leading to a certificate, degree, or diploma. Scholarships will be applied to the cost of undergraduate tuition, fees, room and board, and other college expenses. In any year when no students are identified by the deadline, the grantable income may be added to the need-based student aid process.

    Eligibility:
    -Must be residents of Forsyth County, NC
    -Have a current minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or received a GED
    -Demonstrate financial need
    -Must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours per semester
    -Must have been in foster care or had two deceased parents prior to their 18th birthday

Can scholarships.com please filter the scholarships they chose to offer to certain people by multiple requirements, this website knows where I live and it suggests scholarships for me from across the country. I did not apply because I do not live in North Carolina.
