  • Scholarship Description
  • This is a needs-based scholarship. Applications will be evaluated on the following criteria:
    -Financial need
    -Scholastic record
    -Personal statement/essay: The typed essay of at least 200 words should address personal goals, academic achievements and the applicant's plans toward making a difference in the community
    -Community service activities
    -Recommendations
    -Interview
    -Orientation/reception

    Eligibility:
    -Be an African-American female
    -Be a graduating senior attending a Denver Metropolitan area high school
    -Have a GPA of 3.0
    -Have applied to an accredited four-year college or university
    -Not be a daughter of a Delta
