  • The Hello, My Name is King Scholarship provides support to young Black males who aspire to attend a college and/or university. The award may be applied to any student expense and will be awarded to the student after proof of acceptance has been reviewed. While the majority of financial awards require applicants to hold a minimum 3.0 GPA, the Hello My Name is King Scholarship welcomes students who have at least a 2.8 GPA. Wherein, we provide support to a scholastic subgroup that is often overlooked.

The scholarship is open to senior African-American high school males who possess a minimum 2.8 GPA. To apply for the scholarship complete a 300-500-word essay that answers the following prompt. The essay submission should be properly structured, possess a clear vision, minimum grammatical errors, and highlight the applicant's strengths. In addition to the above, applicants should also send an official copy of their transcript and one letter of recommendation.
