The Leinbach Chain-Breaker Scholarship was established in 1992 to provide a renewable scholarship to graduating high school seniors from Forsyth County who will pursue undergraduate degrees from accredited post-secondary institutions. Applicants who are African-American or multi-racial will receive priority consideration. Scholarships will be applied to the cost of undergraduate tuition, fees, room and board, and other college expenses.
To receive consideration, applicants must:
-Be residents of Forsyth County
-Be graduating high school seniors
-Have a minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0
-Be African-American or multi-racial, preferably
-Demonstrate financial need, but not restricted to lower incomes (student's financial need will be considered to a greater degree)
