  • Scholarship Description
  • Capture the Dream, Inc. offers the George Geng On Lee Minorities in Leadership Scholarship to graduating high school seniors and college undergraduate students who will be enrolled full-time at accredited, not-for-profit four-year institutions in the fall term. Each scholarship winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship to be mailed to their college or university.

    Eligibility:
    -Must be a Bay Area resident. Bay Area residence is defined as having lived in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area for the two years (24 months) preceding the application deadline. The Bay Area's nine (9) counties are Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma
    -Must be from a low-income household
    -Must be a minority student who will be enrolled full-time at an accredited, not-for-profit four-year institution in the upcoming fall term
    -Employees of Capture the Dream, Inc. and relatives of officers are not eligible for this program
