• Today, the Chickasaw Nation is economically strong, culturally vibrant and full of energetic people dedicated to the preservation of family, community and heritage. Since the 1980’s, tribal government has focused on building an economically diverse base to generate funds that will support programs and services to Indian people. Business has flourished, programs and services have grown, and the quality of life for all Chickasaws has been greatly enhanced.

  The Chickasaw Nation is pleased to offer its students funding assistance for college. The higher education grant may be awarded to undergraduate, graduate or doctoral students who maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher each semester. Applicants must attend at least three credit hours per semester. Applicants must be Chickasaw citizens only. Deadlines will vary for the semester that is being applied for. Hello I am a proud representative of the Navajo Nation and the Choctaw Nation, I will soon be a student at Pima Medical Institute. I am going to be enrolling into the veterinarian field, to help my community back home with our livestock and pets. Not only that, but I love spending time with the animals I have at home and that I met. I've already got done hands on experience with some animals back home, if I do get this scholarship it will really help me out so much, you help me pursue my dreams working on animals.
